Standards & terminologies
The code systems and formats the Partner API actually reads or writes, and how sure each use is. If a standard is not on this page, the API does not use it: there is no C-CDA document output, no X12 (837, 835, 270/271) and no NCPDP.
Code systems
| System | Where | Caveat |
|---|---|---|
| LOINC | Observations and labs in FHIR output; the loinc field on member data in; the brief DocumentReference type (34133-9); syndromic and immunization OBX codes. | Only where Norvya is sure of the code. Anything else is coded in Norvya's own system (https://norvya.health/fhir/CodeSystem/observation) rather than guessed. |
| UCUM | Units on observations: values are converted to one canonical unit per metric. | |
| SNOMED CT | Conditions in FHIR, social-needs findings, syndromic diagnoses. | Where certain. |
| ICD-10-CM | Conditions, social-needs Z codes, claims summaries and categories, syndromic diagnoses. | Codings carry no display text. |
| CVX | Immunizations (the cvx field; FHIR Immunization). | |
| RxNorm | MedicationStatement in FHIR, resolved at export. | |
| CPT, HCPCS, CDT, NDC, DRG | Only as a code_type you supply on Good Faith Estimate lines. | Norvya does not emit them. |
| CSTE / CDC / APHL trigger codes | Electronic case reporting candidates (eRSD / RCTC). |
LOINC, SNOMED CT and ICD-10-CM codes in Norvya's terminology registry are checked by a script against the code systems. Measures are eCQM-style and not certified; licensed programmes such as HEDIS answer 409 until a licence is in place.

Each family page lists the standards that family uses, under “Standards”.
